Altar servers have a very active role during the Mass, leading processions and assisting the clergy. This ministry is especially for boys and girls who regularly attend Mass and are old enough to receive Holy Communion. However, there is no maximum age: some of our past servers have stayed on through high school and college! Plus, we need adult altar servers for Funeral Masses and other special liturgies that occur during school hours.
